We have a fantastic opportunity for a Third Party Intervention Team Leader to join our highly talented Salford Quays, Manchester office.

Shift Rotations are between  8am - 8pm  - Monday - Friday and  Saturdays 9am - 5pm. (x2 Saturdays per month)
 Job responsibilities
  • The day to day operational performance management of a team of 8-10 people
  • To be responsible for the distribution and monitoring of work to the team
  • Collation and monitoring of team productivity
  • Take ownership of daily, weekly and monthly reporting where appropriate
  • To actively coach and mentor TP intervention handlers to increase customer service and capture rates
  • Assist with any training for the TP intervention team as required by the business
  • Ensure adequate scheduling and resourcing and recruitment for the team
  • Assist with technical queries from the team where possible and ensure they’re directed to the most appropriate person where required
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement using tools available
  • Liaise with other claims areas as necessary to ensure any process or procedural adherence issues are addressed and resolved
  • Oversee the period and cost of hire, repairs and injury provided to third parties and ensure all costs are kept to a minimum and are not subject to any leakage
  • Ownership of performance against agreed objectives, SLAs and KPIs.
  • Undertake regular audits of handlers and as directed assist with any supplier audits
Skills, knowledge & experience
  • Experience of team management in a results-driven environment against specified targets, KPIs & SLAs
  • Motor claims, direct sales, ideally cold calling, and/or third party intervention experience preferred
  • Driving performance
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Good time management and organisation skills with the ability to prioritise work and a team
  • Problem solving skills with the ability to adopt a logical approach to resolving problems
  • Preferred understanding of third party intervention handling
