We have a fantastic opportunity for a Procurement & Contract Analyst to join our talented Procurement team in Haywards Heath, West Sussex.

The successful candidate will provide support to the team in related activity, document control, database management, supplier liaison and due diligence.
 
With a responsibility for maintaining the procurement supplier and contract database, you’ll ensure all supplier information, contracts and associated documentation are current and secure.
 
Job responsibilities
  • Collect and upload documentation and data needed to set up approved suppliers
  • Onboard suppliers and control workflows
  • Perform supplier due diligence and credit solvency checks
  • Document control, ensuring accessibility, traceability and accuracy of documents
  • Ensure status of contracts is current with appropriate review notifications and timeframes
  • Manage stakeholder access and permissions
  • Identify and research potential new suppliers
  • Management of Procurement inbox
  • Monitor and report on business adherence to procurement and supplier management policy
  • Identify database and subsequent process improvement opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with company and other relevant standards and regulations, such as Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) at all times
 
Skills, knowledge & experience
  • Experience working in a similar role in the insurance industry
  • Excellent knowledge of motor insurance and its products
  • Strong spend analytical background, preferably in a procurement or contract environment
  • Understanding of contract formation and terms, along with SLAs
  • Experience of reporting and ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including stakeholder management and relationship building skills
  • Knowledge of FCA requirements (including TCF)
  • Negotiation and influencing skills together with time management and organisation skills
  • Emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strives to drive business improvements to contribute to the success of the business
