You'll provide analysis, insight and competitive advantage to the company by producing analysis and reports which maximises the profitability of the Company. Producing key company reports to the Head of Technical Pricing, you'll write reports solving key company questions, learn industry analysis techniques and the SAS software.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to:
hold a minimum 2:1 in a mathematical or statistical based degree
have excellent data and statistical analysis skills
be commercially focussed and a logical thinker with solid reasoning ability
Job Responsibilities:
Production of key business analysis reports
Ad hoc project work researching and providing analysis to motor function
Maintenance of analysis programs and models written in SAS software and using relevant WTW software packages
Writing new analysis code using SAS software
Presenting results in SAS server, Excel and written reports
Production of findings in a clear and logical manner
Positive manner with ability to communicate well with all colleagues and stakeholders
To ensure compliance with company and other relevant standards/ regulations at all times
Job Specific Competencies:
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Some experience of SAS, Excel and statistical techniques an advantage
Strong IT skills (including Excel and ideally SAS)
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Good time management and organisation skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to adopt a logical approach to solving problems
Strong numerical skills
Good knowledge of motor insurance products and the motor insurance industry after appropriate training
Solid understanding of the business objectives and operations
