We’re on the hunt for a talented Digital Insight Analyst to join our Commercial and Marketing team in Haywards Heath, West Sussex.

You’ll be responsible for using the Google and Adobe Analytics reporting suite to understand customer behaviour opportunities and segments that can be used to improve our online journeys, reducing online failure and driving high value targeted marketing activity across our multiple online and offline journeys with 1ST CENTRAL.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have:

  • Proven strong experience in an analytical/insight role
  • Experience in web analytics (Adobe/Google)
  • Experience in digital marketing analytics
  • Experience with transactional SQL 

Job responsibilities

  • Identify the required data to provide insightful reporting for end-to-end commercial, operations and marketing teams
  • Website tracking and reporting: monitor the performance of digital channels/spend including the end-to-end performance from lead to sales qualification to win/loss
  • Design and deliver periodic reporting highlighting trends and monitoring KPIs (automated dashboards)
  • Support delivery of trading reports in SAS and Power BI developing SQL queries
  • Report findings into Commercial team to make informed decisions to improve conversion rates and customer journeys
  • Feed insight into the Marketing function to build deals and offers to drive performance
  • Apply industry knowledge to interpret data and to make recommendation to improve performance
  • Understand the key patterns in customer lifecycles, including acquisition, retention and lifetime value
  • Use knowledge of customer behaviours and influencing factors to build models to predict future behaviour at key points of the customer lifecycle
  • Feedback on processes that need changing to ensure high quality data to support all insight work

Skills, knowledge & experience

  • Experience in web analytics (Adobe/Google)
  • Experience in digital marketing analytics
  • Experience with transactional SQL
  • Familiarity with business intelligence/data visualisation tools (such as PowerBI, Tableau, Qlikview), plus the ability to interrogate and analyse data in MS Excel
  • Experience in using A/B testing techniques to make careful changes to user experiences while collecting data on the results
  • Preparation of reports, data, metrics which inform decision making
  • Transactional SQL skills to query data for report building in SAS and Power BI
  • Key analytical skills and methods enabling accuracy and interpretation of data
  • Commitment to continual research and reading on the latest tactics techniques tools and methodologies around website analytics
  • Presents information well in all formats (written, verbal) and using Microsoft Office tools
  • Uses analytical approach to a problem to ensure rigour and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
